SILK SCREEN PRINTING -  May 08 - June 08 (Tuesday evenings 4.00 -7pm ) Are you into fashion? Ever wondered what it would be like to be a fashion designer? Join the last part of this course and learn silk screen printing. Beginners welcome and there are still a few places left. NEW
MUSIC DROP IN WORKSHOP -  From Dec 2008 (Thursdays 11 - 5pm) Are you 15 - 19, not at school, college or work, and into music. If so, then come along to KCP on Mondays or Thursdays to work on the latest music-making software (Pro-tools / Reason). Learn production skills or just record your music and work with others. COMPILATION ALBUM PROJECT - May 08 - Apr 09 (Wednesdays 4 - 7pm) Form a band, come to KCP to make music, and enter your best track in our KCP song contest in the Summer of 2008. Celebrity judges will pick the best 8 songs to go on our compilation album. The group making the “BEST SONG” will be offered the chance to make their own pop video. See staff if you want to enter !! NEW ‘MY ISLINGTON - VIDEO PROJECT - Sept 08 - Mar 09 (3 hours per week - time TBA) If you’re aged between 15-19, then why not become part of our latest film project in conjunction with the Barbican,; it’s about life in Islington as seen through the eyes of young people and old . No previous film making experience necessary - the film will be shown next year in front of a large audience at the Business Design Centre, Islington and submitted to cable TV channels for a potential screening. DRAMA / THEATRE PROJECT - Starts 30th April (Wednesdays 4 - 7 pm) Are you 15 -18 and interested in ACTING in a production on the Almeida Stage, Islington. Join our 15 week Theatre Industry Course - , learn basic acting skills ,take a tour of the BBC, meet casting directors, meet actors from the Young Actors Theatre, Islington.
