During half term and summer holidays we offer a range of outdoor activities to young people who are registered with KCP.
Those include:
Go-karting, paint-balling, quad biking, high ropes, assault courses, fashion exhibitions and shows, theatre & dining out, micro-light plane gliding, seaside trips, ice skating, horse riding and much more!

This course will offer young people an insight into Silk Screen T-shirt Printing and brand design as a business.
Course times: Wednesday evenings 4.00 pm - 7.00pm

Target age: 14 - 19
Target student: Students with a keen interest in the art of silk screen printing or an interest in brand marketing/small business enterprise.
Number of places: 10
Course outline
• DESIGN YOUR OWN LOGO
• LEARN PHOTOSHOP SOFTWARE.
• LEARN THE BASICS OF SILK SCREEN PRINTING FROM
• SCREEN PREPERATION TO VARIOUS PRINTING TECHNIQUES,
• LEARN HOW TO OPERATE PROFFESSIONAL INDUSTRIAL PRINTING STUDIO EQUIPMENT
• PRINT A RANGE OF T-SHIRTS/SWEAT SHIRTS
• LEARN HOW TO SET UP A SMALL BUSINESS AND PROMOTE/ SELL YOUR T-SHIRTS AS AN INDEPENDENT DESIGNER

Target student: Those who have a desire to learn basic tailoring techniques and those with an interest in the fashion industry.
Number of places: 13

Course outline:
• Fashion research, creating mood boards. Fashion drawing.
• Basic hand sewing and sewing machine and customising skills.
• Designing and customising vintage costumes and accessories.
• Basic tailoring techniques; basic pattern drafting and garment construction.
• Visit fashion exhibitions.
• Co-ordinate a fashion show and fashion photography shoot, modeling your very own designs!!

Interested in joining a team of young people, making documentary films?
We will be making two short films in the new year, one about crime and punishment, the other about the music industry.
As a participant, you'll learn all aspects of film-making, from planning and camera-operating, to sound recording and editing.

The Music Industry Course is a 14 week project, one evening a week, for young people aged 15 to 21 who are interested in finding out what it takes to make it in the music industry.

Are you 15 - 21 years old and into MUSIC?
If so, then why not come along to KCP on Monday, Wednesday or Friday afternoons to work on our latest music-making software (Logic) with the help from our resident Music Youth Worker.
We use Logic, Pro-tools and Reason software (industry standard).
Learn production skills or just record your music/vocals. Work alone or work with others.
Just drop in, or phone us and ask for any member of staff for more details.
